K2L at Salford Expo
02/11/11
On Friday 14th October, we attended the first ever Salford Business Expo, along with 50 other local businesses.
It was a great opportunity for us to showcase our portfolio to potential clients and gave us a chance to firmly cement K2L within Salford’s thriving business community.
We met lots of businesses operating within the region, including Ralli Solicitors, Cetus Solutions, Salford City Council’s business team and also got to socialise with some of our existing clients including Fresh Start Waste Services, Salford City Reds and Kenny Waste Management outside of the boardroom.
The day was a great success, with great networking and new business contacts for all those in attendance, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event!

DGOS unveils new brand identity
15/03/11
Manchester-based office supplies company DGOS has revealed its new brand identity and brand repositioning as it looks to retain customers and increase its market share in the North West.
Designed by our good selves, the rebrand looks to position DGOS as the ‘local office products supplier’ and promotes the benefits of ordering office supplies locally.
Customer retention will be another aspect of the brand repositioning for DGOS, which will be achieved through a review of customer literature and a number of loyalty schemes, while a customer-focused overhaul of the company’s websites is also underway.
Darren Carr, Director at DGOS, said, “Our new brand repositioning is an exciting step in what has been a rapid transformation for the business. We have made a significant investment in understanding the office supplies market, looking at what our competitors are offering and what it is that makes us different. We’ve found that being local gives us a significant advantage over the competition, in terms of price and delivery, etc.”
Lynda Lane, Director at K2L, said, “In the sometimes conservative world of office product supplies, DGOS’s new identity uses bold, fresh colours, a quirky illustration style and a direct tone of voice - all designed to promote the benefits of buying your office supplies locally.”
The new identity is set to be rolled out across customer literature, a new website and new stationery. There will also be a customer acquisition campaign later down the line, with billboards, direct mail and product literature to follow.
