Just got back from a monster stag do in Berlin where it was my job to organise 13 burly blokes (and provide a little bit of branding). I highly recommend Berlin if you’ve not been and I’ll definitely go back for a more cultural visit where I’d like to see more than just the empty bottom of a Jagermeister shot glass.
The highlight was the bierbike with us trundling around the city with our stag dressed as a buxom barmaid serving us German lager, whilst having rock power ballads blasting from the bikes speakers. The city was full of thousands of Schalke fans who were watching their team play (and destroy Dulsberg 5-0) in the German Cup in the lovely sunshine. We met some great fans who embraced our German-themed do, which was nice as I thought they might be a bit offended.
