Google Rolls Out Panda 4.0

Google search supremo, Matt Cutts, announced on his Twitter that Google have begun to roll out the new Panda algorithm update. Aimed to crack down further on poor quality content, Panda 4.0 is set to benefit smaller business, whilst also supporting websites that create valuable content.

In a nutshell, Panda 4.0 is designed to prevent websites with less than satisfactory content ranking well in the search engine. For Google to “officially” release this means they have made major algorithmic changes to Panda.

But what does this mean?

The answer to this is simple. For those of you who have been focusing your SEO strategy on the creation and distribution of high quality and valuable content for the last 12 months, you’re fine. For everyone else, you’d better get started… soon!
