As you may already know, Scott and Jonny from K2L successfully completed the Manchester Marathon on Sunday! Having both trained hard over the last few months, they were both rewarded with a finisher’s medal.
The race started and finished near the K2L offices just outside Old Trafford football ground, K2L Director Scott Kennedy said ‘I’m very pleased to have finished it and so happy with the amount of money we raised for our chosen Charity’.
K2L managed to raise £1,340 for the St Ann’s Hospice based in Salford who helps around 3,000 patients and their families every year who are affected by cancer and non-cancer life limiting illnesses.
Scott finished in a time of 4 hours 44 minutes and Jonny in a time of 3 hours 39 minutes. Jonny commented ‘It was quite a long way that…my feet hurt’, which we feel sums it up very nicely.
The pair will be in action again along with a few other K2L colleagues for the BUPA Great Manchester Run at the end of May.
So once again, well done guys – we’re all really proud of you!
