The brief was clear; DGOS wanted some rebranding, with a whole host of collateral to be rolled out. The brand needed to be repositioned as the North West’s number one office supplies company, and the overall theme needed to be fun, friendly and original. DGOS also wanted us to take inspiration from their Manchester-based heritage. Our initial branding objectives included:
- Create fun, original new branding for DGOS
- Build a recognisable, approachable brand identity
- Incorporating the company’s Mancunian roots
- Roll branding out across a range of marketing collateral

DGOS was an established company – we needed to create original branding that would shake things up, but not distance the company from their already sterling local reputation. We also need to find a way to incorporate the company’s wishes – by taking inspiration from their Mancunian roots.

For a company who very firmly identifies with Manchester, we presented a solution that communicated approachability and a distinctly Mancunian spirit. The friendly and frivolous cartoon style branding featured in a full range of collateral including welcome packs, direct marketing, online media and customer loyalty schemes.
The supporting marketing materials use approachable, down-to-earth language that conveys the open approach with which DGOS work. The company offer unparalleled levels of customer service, attention to detail and all-round professionalism, each of which comes through in the fresh, fun, original branding we created.
