MLP Law wanted their brand to reflect the personal, people-focussed approach and position them as a friendly law firm that clients felt was there to help and support them. They wanted to lose this image of the “typical law” firm, so K2L got to work on the brand and new website. Brand development work was required to achieve this and then to produce a new company website to showcase this.
- Modernise the brand
- Re-position the brand
- Create a more professional company image
- Introduce a friendly and approachable identity
- Create brand assets to be used across all media
- Website design and build
+ The Challenge
The main focus was how to move away from the corporate, office imagery and bright, cyan blue used all over that made the company feel unapproachable and didn’t reflect the quality of customer focussed service MLP provide.
The people are what make the company what it is and this was a key element of where the brand needed to go.
+ Our Strategy
Firstly we stripped the brand back to a simpler, cleaner identity utilising some elements of the current identity to build on the branding, introducing a deeper blue to give the company a more professional, high-end image with the old blue being used as an accent colour.
We art-directed a photoshoot at the MLP head office involving the real staff members in a relaxed, friendly manor. A video was also produced to continue this reassuring feeling of approachability and familiarity showing real staff interacting with each other and clients.
We designed and built a modern, slick website which used the video as a full screen header when the user landed on the site to give an instant feeling of reassurance and brand personality. The key services were showcased clearly and staff members testimonials incorporated into the design to continue the theme of support and trust and tie the whole brand experience together.
