Last Thursday, 13 March, the shortlist was revealed for the coveted Prolific North Awards 2014. K2L are very proud to have been shortlisted for the B2C Marketing/Integrated Communications Campaign for our ‘Red Devilution’.

The awards celebrate excellence and recognise outstanding campaigns in the creative and media industries across the North. Featuring 22 categories, there was an overwhelming number of entries received, with an increase of over 25% over the debut awards last year.

We entered our Red Devilution Campaign for the Salford Red Devils which was implemented to increase the club fan base and raise their profile whilst promoting their rebranding.

K2L are keeping good company in our nominated category with the likes of global marketing agency Weber Shandwick also in the running for their Aldi, The Store That Understands You campaign. In total, we’re up against 9 other great campaigns.

The awards dinner will be held on 1 May at the Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club and is likely to be the largest single gathering of leading creative and media companies in the North in 2014. Hosted by broadcaster, Jim Hancock and BBC presenter, Beccy Meehan, the event looks set to be a great evening out.
