Oldham Active is so much more than just a gym – it’s a community-first leisure centre on a mission to make health and fitness something everyone can access and enjoy, no matter age or ability. With that in mind, they’d need fun digital campaigns that felt inclusive, energising and a little bit unexpected.
K2L collaborated with Oldham Active across multiple areas, kicking things off with our first campaign together: “Make Your Move.” We delivered a full suite of creative tailored to three key groups – adults, children, and seniors – each with their own bold visuals and personalised messaging. We then launched targeted paid social campaigns designed to speak directly to each audience and boost sign-ups.
Next up was “Trick or Treat Bingo”, which was a seasonal Halloween campaign with a playful twist. Designed to keep current members engaged (and tempt new ones to join in the fun), we created a cast of quirky characters, bingo cards, digital display boards, and eye-catching pull-up banners. The campaign brought a real buzz to the gym floor, and a few laughs too.
Finally, we launched “Healthy Start”, a thoughtful initiative aimed at expectant mothers. With campaign materials and an educational brochure, we encouraged women to stay active during pregnancy in a safe, supported way – perfectly in line with Oldham Active’s mission to champion community wellbeing at every stage of life.
