Better Guts entered the probiotic space with a refreshingly straightforward mission: to move people away from the “more strains = better” mindset and toward something genuinely effective. Instead of overwhelming multi-strain blends, they wanted their gut supplements to focus on one clinically backed strain – potent, precise and paired with delayed-release technology and prebiotic fibres so it actually reaches the gut alive. The science was solid, their purpose was clear, and what they really needed was a brand that expressed that clarity with confidence.

Our creatives worked closely with the Better Guts team to help them understand their place in a crowded market and articulate what defined their “Difference”. That meant building an identity that feels natural (not clinical) and uncomplicated, keeping things clear and relatable while still communicating the science with confidence. We developed full brand guidelines to give them structure: a visual system built around unfussy layouts, warm and realistic imagery, and messaging that explains the science without drowning people in it. The tone is reassuring, direct and intentionally uncomplicated, mirroring that same simple yet effective ethos powering their probiotics.

With their positioning and audience defined, we brought the new identity to life through product mockups and real-world applications so the team could see how the brand behaves beyond a guidelines document. From packaging to everyday touchpoints, the new look has given Better Guts a foundation they can grow from and the confidence to step into the market with a voice that reflects who they are and the clarity they stand for.
