We’d like to wish a very well-deserved congratulations to not one, but two of our fabulous clients for making Insider Magazine’s ‘SME300’.
Every year, acclaimed B2B publication Insider Magazine publishes the SME300; a list of the best-performing small businesses in the region. To qualify for consideration, a business must have a turnover between £5-20m, based on turnover and pre-tax profit.
Our clients Trumeter Technologies and cartime made the list, which is no mean feat considering that there are well over 200,000 small to medium sized businesses in the North West. Insider labelled each company as ‘a diamond of the North West economy’ – high praise from the UK’s most successful regional B2B media company.
Listed as number 268, Trumeter specialise in the design, manufacture and distribution of measurement products and sensing and LED technologies. Beginning as a small Manchester-based engineering company, they now operate as a global, multi-faceted business with offices all around world, including the UK, USA and Malaysia.
Bury-based car supermarket cartime made the list at a commendable number 272; specialists in prestige used cars, cartime provides its customers with a new way to buy a used car. This entry is particularly impressive as cartime have only been trading for three years. With over 300 cars in the showroom, the company is committed to expanding into one of the largest and best dealerships in the North West. cartime also has exciting expansion plans in the pipeline, in the form of a new car collection centre that will bring a £1/2 million investment to the town of Bury.
As well as being featured in Insider Magazine, the information from the SME300 is compiled into a useful marketing tool. The SME300 database is available to purchase and includes a list of contact details for key decision makers within each individual company – something that comes in handy for marketing and business development purposes within any industry.
Industry recognition such as Insider’s SME300 is a great way of commending successful businesses. Congratulations to all the businesses in the North West that made the list – keep up the good work!
