OMG! What an absolute treat, courtesy of XFM and Scott. Mark and I (Barbs) nipped away from our desks to catch James play an acoustic set to an exclusive few at the XFM studios over in Building 4 at Exchange Quay.
Here to promote their current tour playing lesser known James tracks with the amazing Manchester Consult Choir and the Orchestra of the Swan. They opened the set with a new track and then burst into old classics including; Say Something, She’s a Star and Getting away with it. Absolute gold – I used my hobbit stature to get within two metres of Tim Booth – result! What an intimate gig – very special indeed, Big Thanks.
