Insider Media Announce Finalists
We’re delighted to announce that our Director, Scott Kennedy has made the shortlist for Insider Media’s Young Professionals Awards!
Scott’s made the cut in the ‘Young Business Development Professional’ category; a well-deserved appointment as he’s always busy with pitches, proposals and driving all aspects of K2L forward.
North West Business Insider and pro·manchester originally created the Insider Media’s Young Professionals Awards to recognise the achievements of the region’s high flyers. Since its inception, the event has gone from strength to strength. It is now in its 12th year.
So when’s the big reveal?
We’ve not got long to wait for the result – as winners will be announced at a glitzy black-tie event on the 21st April. Salford’s Lowry Hotel will host the evening, which is also sponsored by Pinset Masons and Cowgill Holloway. It’ll be a great networking opportunity and a chance to hobnob with some industry insiders. Insider Media is famed for its fantastic events, so the night should be a good one!
Looking at the shortlist, Scott will be up against some serious competition. The glam event will play host to loads of talent from across the North West, including Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and Lancashire. The awards welcome candidates from a range of sectors including law, property, and you guessed it, marketing and communications.
“Outstanding people who are going places”
One of the judges, Alex Smith of Sheppard Robinson said of the shortlist, “We were looking for something outstanding, people who are going places and who have achieved a lot in a year” – so well done Mr. Kennedy!
Cake and candles
It’s actually been double bubble this week, as we celebrated Scott’s birthday on Tuesday. We won’t tell you which birthday it was, but we think he’s pretty pleased about making the Young Professional Awards shortlist… For more than one reason. So, it’s been cake and candles all round!
