Last night saw the best creative minds in the North West come together for the annual Prolific North Awards, which celebrates and rewards outstanding campaigns and talent in the creative and media industry…and we won!!
Taking place at the Lancashire Cricket Club, this year we were nominated for our Marketing Campaign ‘The Red Devilution’ created and designed for Salford Red Devils. We were nominated in the category of ‘Best B2C Marketing and Integrated Communications Campaign’. Also in our category were the likes of BJL for their ‘Subarural’ campaign for Subaru; and Weber Shandwick for their ‘The Store That Understands You’ campaign for Aldi.
A packed room over 750 people saw us fend off serious competition to scoop the much coveted award!
Back in September 2013, the Salford City Reds new owner Dr Marwan Koukash announced a revolution was about to begin at the club. We worked closely with the devils to turn Marwans idea of a revolution into the RED DEVILution.
After devising the concept of the campaign we implemented a variety of online and offline marketing to increase awareness of the sports club and to improve game attendance from fans.
All at K2L worked extremely hard on this campaign and we’re so proud to be recognised for our innovative work.
