Hancocks – Heritage First —
As the very first jewellers in Manchester, Hancocks wanted to modernise their visual identity while incorporating their heritage.
Opening their doors in 1860, the jeweller has become known for it’s luxurious products and a client base to match. We wanted to embrace this within the brand.
A classic logotype was hand crafted, based on the memorable store front, one of the oldest and most recognisable in Manchester. This was rolled out across the store’s bags, boxes, certificates and online to create a brand as desirable as the jewellery they sell.
To bring back it’s shine, the online experience was developed to align with the instore customer experience, producing a cohesive brand that customers could believe in.
